I'm currently happy, but if I wasn't I know I would be afraid and I'll openly admit that. I was so afraid with my ex that it took me 1.5 years to finally end it.

@AnonymouslyMe: I learned the longer you wait, the harder/worse it is. Sometimes you just have to pull off the band-aid. I felt so much better when I did...

No. Many think ending a relationship is a failure. The hard part is recognizing when it is something to be worked through; and when it is best to draw line in the sand and move on.

Divorcing ex-wife was so hard until realized it was the right thing to do. Met my now wife over 25 years ago and she has been the biggest blessing in my life.
