Nowadays it's nothing to do to send someone a text. If you don't hear from a person after a few days I take it they're not really into you like that.
I don't know why it's so easy for me to move on, but after a couple of days I tend to forget about the person until I hear from them again.
In the meantime focus on your goals, hobbies, interest. Do things for you that you like to enjoy with people who like to be with you.

it feels like as much as it's 2021 america's dating culture hasn't really moved past 1950 so you know, maybe focus on your own goals and wait it out, if the guy is truly interested he'll come around. it may be the past but it refuses to die in it's shallow grave.
