They are just that...co-dependant! Which is how it should be!

It would seem bad to strong and independent types.

If both parties are happy and aren't bothering anyone else, who cares?

It's no one's business how people choose to lead their relationships.

I believe so, yes. I think if we can't get by on our own, we need to be stronger, as the other person may not always be there. Codependency hinders this growth.
