My ex and I are best friends. It is hard but deep down we do love and respect each other, just weren’t a compatible couple. The struggle is worth it to be a part of each other’s lives.

I learned eventually that there is no point in going back. Break ups are forever and "just friends" is not an option since the friendship part of the relationship is what failed.

I'm still trying to rekindle the relationship but she won't talk to me. It wasn't terrible for her but it devastated me.
