Everyone has few expectations from relationship. You just have a high priority for your respect. It's ok, but you should try to balance your priority for other qualities. Guys have a flair of acting, particularly when they want to impress someone.

It just means you are quicker to see the beautiful things about people, and nothing’s wrong with that. You can actually use it in a positive way, like telling the person how much you appreciate their kindness. It would brighten their day I’m sure.
