It's obviously not. Though it is a fact of life that for the eligible and worthy, any place beside school and workplaces are potential places to form bonds of mutual attraction.

Why is the site logo intertwined hearts if it's not a dating site? Yes, I'm aware you "heart" posts you like, but the imagery in the logo couldn't be any clearer, and that's going to be the main thing most people look at when joining.

More to the point, people vote "with their feet" or rather with their actions, especially so in absence of clear guidance what the purpose of the site is. A thousand flies can't be wrong, if it looks like one and smells like one, then it is one. I really, really dislike people stating either "Thou shalt not use it as a dating site" OR "Thou shalt use it as a dating site", because salt's just that unhealthy for you.

ummmm.... it was not made for that originally , but some turned it into a place to find love. It's certaintly possible to find a real connection on sites like this, but I don't recommend it. It wouldn't be my first choice.
