Yes, I think somebody should make the first move.

Adaydreambeliever · 56-60, F
These days either is fine, it's no longer the case that a woman has to wait to be asked.. However, remember too that there are still men who are very traditionalist and that some women still were raised to believe they cannot or should not.. If a girl feels comfortable making this first move you refer to.. go for it

It can be either.I try to make it easy for a guy I like to ask me out but also I have asked out guys.

I think it depends..personally I prefer the man to make the first approach as I'm old school like that..but having said that it was me who made the first move when I met my now husband...

I think someone should do whatever is most comfortable for them and that can mean making the first move or not.

I say whoever wants to make the first move makes the first move
Primnproper · 56-60, F
Well it's accepted generally for girls to be able to if they want, I admit I could never do it..lol
@Primnproper I couldn't either. :D I drop hints, though. My partner is pretty shy, so it took a while.
Primnproper · 56-60, F
@lauriethecolourful I know that feeling well! 😊
Crickets · 46-50, F
Because I'm old-fashioned, I think the guys should.
popmol · 26-30, M
both can but since i don't know how. so i probably want her to do it.
RaemaSnr · 26-30, F
The guy- maybe I'm biased cause I'm quite shy so I wouldn't make the first move even if I really wanted to😬
abe182 · 51-55, M
Either. But I like when the girl gives hints and the guy acts on the hints.
I always make the move cause I like to be in control
NorthernRoses · 26-30, F
I don't know, depends on the people. 🤔
Snuffy1957 · 61-69, M

The girl. I don't date guys.
@SapphicHeart Of course. Forgive my ignorance. I would imagine in same sex relationships, there would be someone more or less comfortable with making the first move. :)
@lauriethecolourful
You're right. It likely will be that way. I like it to be her making the moves. *-*
MightySizeQueen · 36-40, F
On a date, the girl. To be ask on a date, the guy. To pay for dinner, the guy.
firefall · 61-69, M

abooklover · 56-60, F
I'm very old-fashioned. The guy.

whoever is more wet
I think both should make the first move. Not the first move to each other. But it shouldn't be one gender should always make the first move. That’s just idiotic.
Jimgeneration60 · 61-69, M
Guys shouldnt be afraid of guys as girls should not be afraid either. But idiot fuck boys of the past has ruined it
