Just follow your heart and feelings for him, I am sure you two will make a lovely couple.
Rakbladsvalsen · 26-30, M
I had a relationship with a 26 year old when I was 18 and it was probably one of the best, most understanding and stress free relastionships ive ever had so I'd say if you really like him and want to make it work go for it!
JennaBug · 31-35, F
@Rakbladsvalsen That's great that it was great for you. Thanks.
Age doesn't matter unless he acts like he is 12 and treats you with disrespect. My friend has a husband who is 12 years younger than her. She is 42....her husband is 30. Age does not matter.
JennaBug · 31-35, F
@MissMollyCharlotte0702 Yeah that's true. Awesome about your friend :)
Since you are both adults... then there's nothing wrong with that.
Good luck, and enjoy.
JennaBug · 31-35, F
:) I will.
PlumBerries · 31-35, F
nothing wrong with that :)

@PlumBerries Awesome. Thank you :)

Well.... How goes
So far?
... it has been 12 days.
Have you had a date? Even a simple chat over lunch or pizza?

Go for it providing he is mature in his thinking you guys will be fine. Think about it in 50 years 5 years difference will be nothing..
JennaBug · 31-35, F
@Majorlatency Good points. Thanks

It could work, I wonder about your respective maturity levels and places / directions in life. Women mature faster than men and all. You may be starting a career while he is still working on his degree or something along those lines. Just keep communication open and give it a shot.

SW-User
Does he like you too? If so, go for it. If he's unsure, move on
Just maybe consider though he might have very different expectations

No worries at all! Go for it! I wish you both the best of luck and happiness!
Jlhzfromep · M
You are both of legal age so why not. 5 years age difference is less and less a big deal the older you get
JennaBug · 31-35, F
@Jlhzfromep Quite true. I had an older boyfriend.
Fernie · F
I think males that age need a more mature woman. Emotionally you are ten years ahead so...enjoy...maybe he will be advanced enough for you to have a decent relationship for as long as it lasts
Classified · M
You're both adults, so you decide. :)
You could tell him your hesitation, see if he reacts maturely.
