How can I help my girlfriend ?

I been with my girlfriend for 2 months she just got out of a divorce which was hard. Also she lost her first husband 2 years ago she's had it rough. This other guy she married she wasn't happy with him even though she loved him he tried like hell to make her happy the marriage only lasted 4 months they were together 2 years. She has a son from her first marriage from her husband that died he just turned 10 he was only 8 when his dad died which was hard on him they were so close to each other. How can I help her feel better ? What should I say to her ?

The expextations you have of her the better at the moment. Let her know that your available, but dont be overly available.

There are no surprises the marriage didnt work out . She got into it too soon after losing her husband of many years & this wouldn't have afforded her the time she would have needed to griev.

Shes now done the same again by getting into a relationship with you.

Refection is ' Gold' when it comes to processing the emotional upheavals weve gone through.

So yes .. be there but give her loads & loads of 'SPACE'

And soon enough she will reach for her 'happiness ' with you.

Wishing you all the best 馃崕

Probably no right or wrong answers here. I would suggest just be there for her. Be a kind constant for her.

There ain't nothing in the world you can say to make her feel better... nothing!

What you can do though is help her not to dwell on thoughts by distracting her mind. Take her and the kid to a carnival or an amusement park.. you know... shit like that..

Is all I'm sayin

Depends on if she is seeking some sort of therapy.
