So I just did this for whites, so i'll do it for blacks. Why do you think there is SO MUCH racism directed at blacks specifically?

People might think i'm a white supremacist because I acknowledge that racism towards whites exists, which is virtually equal to being in the fucking klan to some. That said, I don't think whites suffer racism the worst, not at all, the race that does is probably blacks or Jews.

Racism targeting blacks is the social standard because that's like... the foundations of American history and identity. The very concept of races as we understand them was invented to justify the slave trade. The slave trade morphed into Jim Crow, and now mass imprisonment and disenfranchisement.

That shit doesn't vanish overnight. The civil rights movement is VERY recent history.

@EmilyMom All I'm saying is that the US has never existed without racism, and for most of its history that racism was legally enforced. That's an essential part of its identity.

Doesn't mean Americans or bad people or you're a racist or whatever. Nothing is perfect. Point is to understand what we're dealing with and not sugarcoat it or rewrite history to make everyone feel better.

Well I'm not saying the US is the only racist place in the world. I'm tying racism to the slave trade because that lasted a very long time, and legally-mandated racism was only abolished in the 60s.

That's a very short time ago. Crusaders against civil rights are just retiring now.
