how can you tell if someone likes you?

i'm not sure what to feel half of the time. my friends tell me that someone might be interested in me and that they notice them being into me and that i should approach them about it. however, i don't see the "attraction" that they talk about

I dunno lol..guess or they tell me which does not really happen or sometimes they do but I am not interested and or don't believe the person..
