Help me if its crush or not

I have met a guy a few days ago, he became my friend and i really like being with him or spending time with him. Moreover i become over excited infrom of him and i smile, laugh a lot even at silliest things but i am not a person who is naturally jovial. I feel like i want to spend time with him.I am confused about whats going on with me.

@Sepia not actually but I talk, smile, and laugh a lot around him which is very unusual. I stay quiet when we both are in a group. What bothers me more is his personality is not even close to the personality of the partner who i always wanted to have in my life. Am I just attracted to him or do i really like him, i am confused
