Have you ever had someone despise you because they’re crush liked you?

There was this one girl “wannabe” that couldn’t stand me for no reason. There was this guy that had a HUGE crush on me and she started to despise me even more. She has a crush on him and I didn’t know she did. It wasn’t my fault.
She was this queen bee at the school and we weren’t friends.
A couple months later, he asked me out and I said I would think about it. I asked about that queen bee and he said who cares what she things and she doesn’t own me and he doesn’t even like her much.
We did go on a date and to find out we had a great time together. After like three more days we start dating and she despised me even more. She got over it when she met a guy.
