do you keep having dreams about an ex? how do you cope with this ?

Mine are not dreams. They are 'nightmares', and I do have them frequently. I cope by rationalizing them as reminders of how fortunate I am being single.

I told her she was a dream and she became self-aware. She started keeping her distance from me. But she talks on occasion. Her words became harsher, though. All I could do was bear it. It's been a while since I've seen her.

I have regular nightmares about one....
And we haven't been together since '92 !
Such was her violent behaviour.

I guess trauma stays with you throughout the years

I've had dreams about my ex husband, some are pretty intense, some are no big deal. They fade away within the next few days of having them.
