Post-breakup Advice [I Hate Break Ups]

Two weeks ago I got dumped. I had been seeing this guy for about four months, and as much as I knew we were incompatible I really liked all the small things he did for me that made me feel loved. I stayed for longer than I should have, it was a toxic relationship which has left my failing school and socially isolated. I am trying really hard to have routine in my life, I work out five times a week and attend my classes, but I feel unmotivated and empty to put it frankly.

What do you suggest?

I would say focus on your studies and if something comes along that fits you then evaluate at that time
He wasnt for you...move on... Have a great time meeting new people your so lucky you are still young you can be wine & dined by someone more worthy of you. Holding on to someone or wondering if they remember you will eat you up.Dont do that men/ boys sometimes move on quicker as they might not have fully commited to the relationship in their heads. It was 4 months be glad it wasnt four years. Hes probably done you a favour. Look after you and look & feel beautiful 😍 pamper yourself.

@SW-User I really wanted it to work, I know I shouldnt of stayed in the relationship but I feel like I was punished for giving it my all.

@Lostpoet started talking to a new guy and its going really well but my ex damaged me so I cant really get close to another male at the moment

@Mistypetal Then don't go at your own speed. Focusing on school and your health is a good thing you should be proud of yourself.
