I Support Age Gap Relationships

@Pherick: You don't have much first hand experience of disabilities do you. My old sea dog can still be going up and down the fells in the English Lake District on his off road mobility scooter long after I want to retire to the nearest pub. And even if he couldn't, what rule demands that all 33 year olds are interested in walking anyway?

@colourmeginger: No rule demands it of course, just the very real difference in age gap start to appear at that difference. As I said, not everyone even notices an 10 year age gap, but at almost 40 years, you notice things.

@Pherick: Yes, but noticing something doesn't equate to not knowing how (or wanting) to deal with it. On the other hand you notice the differences too, the maturity, the wisdom, the gentleness that only comes with age and having encountered something before and knowing a better way of handling it than you knew of when you were young. All these things can come across to the younger person as the distinct *benefits* of being with someone a good deal older.

My favourite male lover has already been using a mobility scooter for the best part of twenty years and our love hasn't diminished one iota. If it had, it wouldn't have been love.
