I Have Been In An Abusive Relationship

He's been served.
my sons biological father has been served with a notice of a step parent adoption regarding my oldest son.

he has until next month to submit an appearance or contest the adoption.

i hope he does neither and we are able to proceed with the adoption.

per the email i got from my lawyer, they officially delivered the notice yesterday (Sunday at around 10am)
i must admit i am nervous, he is not a very good person. but is raising a family of his own with his girlfriend. maybe he has changed. i couldn't tell you.
all i know is the hell i went through with him once i got pregnant.
i do fear that if his girlfriend didn't know he walked out on his son when he was 2 weeks old she might give him grief about it and he in turn will not make this process any easier for me.

i mean because i assume she doesn't know, but maybe she does know, what ever.

ugh i need to relieve some stress, ill be stress cleaning this evening when i get home from work, have maybe a beer or two and nice long shower and hopefully some time with my husband...
