A colleague told me about a Domestic Abuse incident she had to attend a few weeks ago. The male victim wasn't badly injured but had to be taken to A&E for treatment. She was present when the female attacker was arrested and had trouble keeping a straight face when the attacker protested "You can't arrest me for domesic violence, I'm a woman!" 🤦‍♀️

My nephews wife tried to stab him in front of their children, he pushed her away and she called the police, when they handcuffed her she went nuts, he pushed her, she just couldn't understand why she was getting arrested even though he had a stab wound inflicted by her. I have to admit I found it quite funny as the arresting officer drove away with her for the county jail charged with domestic abuse.

@Roadsterrider It's good to know not all police officers automatically take the woman's side in domestic abuse incidents.
