I Have Been In An Abusive Relationship

Most people are being abused by their spouse or their parents. But with me, it isn’t. My brother physically abuse me and my mum. He can be emotionally, mentally and physically abusive. The older he gets, the more he thinks that he’s superior than anyone. He’s hard to deal with. Wish I could talk to someone who’s willing to listen.

There need to be boundaries,sometimes law interference. Because statistically abusive behaviour increases when there are no consequences.

I am sorry you are dealing with this.

I grew up in a culture that normalises this. Things improved between me and my older sibling, there is no physical violence anymore.
I was not silent about it, I had to find a way out of that house, I'd have died long ago otherwise.

Your priority needs to be your safety. Nothing else.
