I wish I would have kept in contact with this person.

When I was in my early 20's, I struggled with pretty bad acne. By some people's standards, I might call it severe.

One day, I posted about it on SW with pics. Some lady responded, saying that she doesn't think it's acne. It's razor burn from shaving.

So I took her advice and started using shaving products for sensitive skin.

Then, all these little, red bumps that kept popping up on my face, looking remarkably similar to acne, disappeared. She was right. It was razor burn, not acne. And now, since I knew how to treat it, my face was SO much more clear.

Of course, back then, I didn't really appreciate people. So I made the mistake of just saying "hey thanks" and then essentially forgetting who it was.

Now I recognize that that person didn't owe me any of the time or effort it took for them to respond to my post and help me out. It was kind of them. I should have remembered who they were, at the very least.

Maybe luck will find me today and they'll come across this post and identify themselves.

I feel that way about a number of people I lost contact with. 1 guy was from my hs and legit saved my life and at one point we fell out of contact cause I was just closing myself off from people. in general so I wasn't keeping up contacts, it's been like a decade but he was a cool guy. 🫡
@UndeadSona Can I ask how he saved your life?

@SinlessOnslaught I was suicidal in college and let's just say he intervened on two separate occasions. Honestly after the second time I ended up leaving the school but... ugh I was such a mess back then
