In most cases, the modern 'relationship' these days is based on "what have YOU done for ME lately?" True or False? What say you?

Seems to me that once one person stops bending over backwards for the other who gives nothing, the other who gives nothing will start complaining and seeking someone else.

That hasn’t been my experience, perhaps because I make sure that “gives nothing” is shown the door fairly quickly. Just don’t have time for that nonsense.
