In most cases, the modern 'relationship' these days is based on "what have YOU done for ME lately?" True or False? What say you?

That hasn’t been my experience, perhaps because I make sure that “gives nothing” is shown the door fairly quickly. Just don’t have time for that nonsense.

So if its very uneven its not relating, or viewing at all.

I think there are a whole lot of people that will settle for anything that helps them no long feel alone. This almost always backfires as a basis for a relationship because they forego any reasonable vetting process in a potential partner.

Everyone gets to chose the dynamic that works for them. Why be with someone who gives nothing?
