A general observation of ppl on SW and mental health .
Yes take your meds but also take vitamins,change your eating habits, exercise, go to therapy. You have to do more then just rely on an Rx slip. True change and better mental health comes from putting effort into yourself and making the uncomfortable changes that need to be made. I say this as someone who was severely depressed and wished I wouldn't wake up every day for several years of my life. Change didn't happens overnight . It's taken me 5 years of hard self reflection, taking accountability and making the changes I needed to make .
If you don't want to do it for yourself. Then do it for your kids if you have them. Do it for those who depend on you ,do it for those who love you. Get the fuck up and do the work. You won't feel like doing it , still get the fuck up. This is coming from a place of love . For some of y'all , you just need to start by TAKING UR MEDS ,let's start there.
