I know, this time change is so confusing. The clock goes forward which seems good until you realize you have to get up an hour earlier. You used to get up at 6, but now 6 is 7, so you have to get up at 5 to get up at 6. ugh..
The whole thing is pointless.

We lost an hour. The concept of Daylight Saving Time was first considered back in the 1800s for the purpose of saving fuel during World War I.

The first city in North America to actually start using DST was a place called Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada in 1908. From there it spread to Germany and other countries in Europe, eventually making it's way back to North America where the USA adopted it's use about 10 years later.

If you look at a map of the Great Lakes Region, Thunder Bay Ontario is right at the extreme pointed top of Lake Superior. I've been to Thunder Bay many time before, but it's not exactly what I'd call a global tourist magnet, so don't call your Travel Agent after reading this! 🇨🇦

Lost an hour. It's stupid; I wish they would stop it.

I think it's a government plot to keep us groggy and disorganized.
@Pretzel I was told it was to save electricity. started some where in the 1940es.

@jackrabbit10 supposedly to help the farmers is what I heard.

But nobody likes it - it'll take the Congress to change it though

Lost an hour. Just like that, we are one hour closer to an Eternity in Hell!

@hunkalove
Sorry hunkalove, you passed Eternity in Hell when the world ended at midnight. Turn around and go back and pay attention this time.
