Why does it trigger people, especially women, so bad when older men have sex with young women?

From my experience, some men, and a lot of women seem to handle it really badly if an older man dates or sleeps with a younger woman.

For example I am 52 and have a 22 year old Fwb. This really triggers women and they hate a lot, say lot nonsense and make excuses. Interestingly they tend to support older women with young men.

So what's their deal?

Is it past negative experiences? That's understandable, but it seems more of some kind of insecurity coming from older women and prejudice coming from younger women. Especially considering how hypocritical lot of them are.

For men who hate I can see the same points as for women plus they are jealous of the older man.

Societal standards will dictate their reaction. I do my best not to judge, but if she's 19 I'm gonna have questions. 25 is usually okay, but 19 seems kike a red flag.

@GohantheThird why is it a red flag if its an older man but not a woman? 19 year olds are adults and can consent.

@Bigboy600 I don't know if I would call it prejudice. Out of context, it could look like some kind of criminal minds shit. An older woman would be a red flag as well.

At 19, she's way too young to relate to. 25 we might have something in common, but 19 is fresh out of high school. Seems odd...

@GohantheThird 25 year old would have nothing in common with a 52 year old outside of sex either just like if they were 19,so there's no difference in common interests.

What we have in common is sex. Our desires. I am surprised so many people don't catch this up it's weird.

It's understandable some find it weird if she's just out of high-school, I get that, but they are still adults.

@Bigboy600 fair, but don't you want something long term? I feel like a 25 year old would be more relatable at that point. I just want someone who atleast as seen part of the century I've lived. A 19 year old would have no clue.

@GohantheThird no I used to be married, I don't want anything long term anymore.

Casual sex is for me and all you need is being able to consent and know what you are doing. Anyone over 18 can do that.

My 22 year olds are just fine for me though.
