Is it normal to wanna be a husband but not a dad?

My girlfriend and I wanna get married, but we don't want kids, we like our lives now and just want it to be the two of us .

There's a lot of pros to not having kids. & Of course not everyone needs to have them. So many people do great in relationships without ever having kids so I don't think there's anything wrong with that. Leaves a lot more options & possibilities open too
