That is excellent. Good for you! It's a good thing. I have lived alone for 13 years and I like it. Nobody to boss me or answer to. Haha Of course I wouldn't let somebody boss me anyway. But it's very freeing. You can come and go as you please or whatever you want to do. Watch all your programs you want and it's very comforting. Very freeing.

I'm right there with you. I grew up with a mother who told me that a woman is NOTHING without a husband, so I made wrong choices and married the wrong men. 4 marriages, 3 divorces and the death of the best one 10 years ago. I've been alone ever since and it's lonely at times but peaceful and I can appreciate the no drama of a bad relationship.

It took me awhile to adjust but I'm more happy now than I've ever been. Being alone is the best way to find yourself, to know who you are and what you want. For YOU.

I'm 58, never married, and no kids. After my share of bad relationships, and seeing all the drama my siblings and mother went through with divorces, deadbeat dads, etc., I'm glad I chose to remain single after the last dude exited. I'm not interested in entertaining anyone who wants to waste my time, stress me out, and try to take advantage. I have peace of mind, and that is priceless.
