Bad meme.
The first sentence is questionable. If you can’t show love, don’t parent children.
The second sentence is just pathetically stupid. As a child of unloving parents, I’ve been disowned, disinherited and even sued. You can’t look for replacement parents as a child.
As a healed adult, there’s no forgiveness. I’m not their maker. There’s no final judgement coming from me. My task is to show deep love to those around me so as to not allow the abuse to continue on for another generation.

@Adogslife I’m sorry you experienced so much pain growing up. I surely can relate to a bad upbringing. So, I can take it you have no contact with your parents?

@Princess54 First, thank you. No. As I mentioned, I was disowned. They both passed, as did my sister. I was never told about any of the three passing. I found out, in each instance, through mutual contacts, months after their deaths. So, not even invited to any of the three funerals.
I found out I was disinherited via certified mail. Apparently there was a second will. In the first I inherited the business, the estate in CT, all bank/investment accounts and all the contents of the house which was filled with antiques. In the second will, I was named specifically to receive nothing. Not contestable.
