My husband is my best friend, he's not really a "husband" 😅

Did you ever have a BFF that you were so close with that the friendship became sort of like a relationship? That's what me and my husband's relationship is like. =D

We never do couple's activities like dating, celebrating Valentine's Day, and we have never had a wedding or rings or anything like that. We just got married for 5 minutes in some little room when I moved to Ukraine, so that I could get a living permit lol. I would find a wedding extremely cringe. 😆

He is technically my husband but we don't have that kind of relationship, and neither of ever wanted a thing like that.

We work together, we play video games together, we are really just friends who sleep together lol.

It's always so strange to me when people hear "husband" and talk or ask about him as if he's some sort of mature adult. 😂

We also have much fun trash talking people from SW who annoy me. =b

The thing is we are way closer than some people in traditional marriages. 🩵

This is also where a lot of marriages go after many many years. You can only play with same toy so many times before it becomes boring, but the familiarity, the safety, the companionship lasts forever.

@SwampFlower The way many people live in traditional marriages is by having romance and sometimes children, being a family. The husband and wife often have seperate work, and will sometimes even say things like "I would get sick of them if I had to see them both at work and at home. Occasionally they don't even share the same friends. It's very different in nature from being BFFs.
