Relationship status
I've had a couple of more dates with Lawrence. He's a lovely guy, nice to spend time with and interesting to chat with. But I don't really feel any deep romantic draw to him. So I'm dating a guy who I like his company. Maybe complicated is the best answer 🤔
This led to a bizarre conversation with a friend who was drawing a distinction between a partner, boyfriend (seems weird to describe a man in his 50s like that), a friend with benefits and a f***buddy. 😂
He came to dinner at mine on Saturday with the kids. My son instantly liked him as he follows F1 so they talked about that. My daughter was putting up walls I thought as she's inclined to do with any new people. She was talking about something she'd done at dance class. He mentioned the show that number was from. Suddenly the two are engaged in a long conversation about various shows. He and his ex partner used to go to lots of shows. He mentions having tickets for a show in February that I know she wants to see. She's now going with him and his sister it seems, not me 😂
As I dropped them off at their Dad's later she says "He's all right that Lawrence actually".
