You see your gf/wife is putting on her coat. You ask her whats going on, and she tells you that shes going to take out the trash.

but if you're asking whether I would volunteer to take out the trash... that depends...
was she putting on her coat in front of me intentionally so as to send a hint? then yes I would volunteer to take it out.

I think I speak for many men by saying that - if you want the trash taken out, just ask.
and no need to keep reminding us every few hours or over the course of the next few days... we will get to it.
