Do women care about a man's past, just as most men are curious about their partner's past?

NB: I mean a man you are considering for serious relationship

how much does a man’s past matter to you? Could it influence whether you consider a long-term relationship with him?

Or you think its not really necessary? if so why

@SilentObZerver I mean I might care if I knew. I’d assume there were always a few before me but I don’t want to actively know there were hundreds. Ignorance is bliss as they say.
