Tonight, my wife told me that we are not getting back together and just wants to be friends.

I guess I still had a flicker of hope inside, but it was dimming as each day went by. It's been almost eight months since she left, but I am ready for change. I will be just fine.

Break ups always tough/ after thought: in my experience when they tell you that there is often someone waiting in the wings....🙁 Might go easy on the friendship part till the dust has settled but in the long run staying friends is a good thing
