It takes two, with a mutual goal to make things work.
Communication, efforts big and small, some give / take, accountability, adaptability, honesty and respect.
Hard to find two people who can manage to keep it together over a lifetime of changes and still be truly happy together. It happens, but the exception by far.

Best way to save a marriage, is to not let it get to let get to that point.
Both always have to show love and compassion to each other all the time, not just when one wants something from the other.
Marriage is always changing, working piece of living art form.

I'll always remember a couple I met in my 20's... (actually don't remember their names or their faces) but they had a lavish 25th anniversary party with renewed vows and a week later it came out that he had been cheating on her for years. It was absolutely not shocking to anyone at all.

Most problems aren't so easily solved

@WoWgirll Seems like the first time taking vows was not good enough.

@JackDaniels seems like a couple months clock starts or something for marriage endings

Spouse A: "I hate you."
Spouse B: "Let's recommit and go to Amish Country for a week."
Spouse A: "Watch what I can do with this butter churn baby."
