I know I come across as someone who enjoys a good laugh and the random awkward emoji, but I’ve been thinking about something that’s been on my heart lately.
I go through these down times in my life that are basically low valleys and ruts that are hard to get out of. I know the patterns and I was about to hit another spiral that I don’t know how long it would have taken me to recover.
But then you, my woman, my love, stepped up and didn’t just let me handle it on my own. You noticed that something was off and worked with me, talked me through it, and gave me the lifeline I didn’t know I needed. So for that, I thank you.
I’ll find a way to tell you this without fumbling the words, but this is a somewhat safe place to put those down on paper. Giving them a little more permanence in the subtlest of ways.
