One thing to know.
Some people have a condition where they will have persistent bad breath even if they practice excellent oral hygiene. One possible cause is bacteria in the stomach, but there are several problems in the digestive tract that result in bad breath.
So, I would advise keeping that in mind as a possibility when you decide on the tone of voice in which you bring this up with her.
