Is it fair to carry all our burden by our partner/significant other/husband or wife. Did it hurt romance or intimacy in your relationship?

Making that one person our Best Friend, and to unload everything on him or her to carry on their shoulder, can often kill the romance/intimacy?

In olden days, men and women socialized in segrgated settings, where we each had mini trusted friends to help deal with our challanges.

What's important is to respect the other person's boundaries. We all have different boundaries and that's okay.

I might get burdened too fast, someone else might handle it better..etc. it is not healthy to act like we all have similar capabilities and trauma dump. You have to find out first what they can handle.
