I don't think it's naive to believe in a caring, healthy relationship...

With mutual effort, intimacy and communication to support love, I believe people can flourish and grow side by side.

But there's always some reason they have to be cruel. Bad day at work, someone was rude, even if it's just the sniffles, there's always some sharp edge waiting to swipe at the person who loves them most.

I've never experienced a healthy loving relationship, I do still believe it's possible though.

I don't know if it's more disappointing what I've already been through, or the likelihood that the love I'm capable of will never find me, but I still fully believe it's possible.

It is possible. I have seen it. The question is whether it is lasting. Everyone has a bad day. It is wise to realize that not all anger is directed at you. But a continued pattern is definitely an indicator. You deserve to be loved and feel safe. 🤗

@Livingwell it'd be nice to be with someone who didn't take a bad day out on their partner just because they'll put up with it though. That's what I'm most sick of. The retaliation I receive because life isn't perfect.

@ScreamingFox I totally agree. 🤗🤗🤗
