I don't think it's naive to believe in a caring, healthy relationship...

With mutual effort, intimacy and communication to support love, I believe people can flourish and grow side by side.

But there's always some reason they have to be cruel. Bad day at work, someone was rude, even if it's just the sniffles, there's always some sharp edge waiting to swipe at the person who loves them most.

I've never experienced a healthy loving relationship, I do still believe it's possible though.

I don't know if it's more disappointing what I've already been through, or the likelihood that the love I'm capable of will never find me, but I still fully believe it's possible.

It’s not naive. I’m in a relationship like that. I don’t mean that as a brag, I just mean that I wouldn’t be in a relationship if it wasn’t like that. I’m someone who would be okay being by myself. But I’m glad that I don’t have to be. I wouldn’t be in a relationship if we were swiping at each other. That doesn’t mean it’s all roses, of course there are times when we’re frustrated with each other, but we’re never cruel, and if he was that way to me, I wouldn’t put up with it.
