What is your best advice to others about how to maintain a lasting relationship?

Communication is core. Listening to each other. Some common interests but also not feeling pushed aside when each of you want some space to do your own thing. Don’t say things in the heat of the moment. If you feel discussions escalating then remove yourself to calm down rather than lose it completely. Ultimately you’re a team but sometimes we forget that.
