Past hurt relationships

Have you ever been cheated on by a spouse and never been able to recover from that.
Like if you ever found someone you actually liked after the divorce did that pain keep you from committing??

My wife cheated on me about 15 months into our marriage. After a miscarriage. Overseas. 56 years ago. We did something most couples don't do. We stayed together. Took about 30 years to rebuild trust. This Dec will be 58 years of marriage. I did the right thing.
