What is it with every guy who says this

"I'll never find a girlfriend" "nobody else would love me" etc I have had messages and seen posts about guys feeling that way. Completely normal and good looking ones. Why so depressed and seriously there are billions of people in the world and online platforms like SW and dating sites like Tinder. Please don't be lazy and negative.

it has a lot to do with compliments, women get them daily, men are lucky to get them Once a decade, why should we believe in ourselves if no one else does ?
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@RoxClymer because that's where it starts and it's important what we believe about ourselves because it shapes some of our attitude which somewhat dictates how we get treated or allow people to treat us. But I get what you mean. However carrying on about it doesn't help. It pushes people away.

@RoxClymer it starts with ourselves. For example you can't get called clean if you don't make an effort to shower. Someone else can't shower for you.

ah, one thing has been made clear, your, yourself have apparently never been, truly, chronically depressed, you obviously don't know the struggle of your own body, your own chemical makeup fighting you

you can have all the good, positive thoughts, but when your own brain/body glitches and sends out a torrent of negative chemicals, you are going to be depressed.

it takes medication to correct it.
and without proper access to drs and meds, it's going to go untreated,

and that's why you see the comments you do.

@RoxClymer I have been clinically diagnosed with psychotic depression and am on medication from it. It's not always about appearance. I was so depressed I didn't care about my appearance or to be complimented.

@UltimateDemiGoddess
and there's the difference, you were so depressed that you didn't care about compliments

we are depressed because we never receive any, not only do we not receive them as soon as we show the tiniest emotion or become Not the breadwinner, we get shit on for not making the money or being emotionally fragile.

have ever had a partner slam you for crying a single time?
UltimateDemiGoddess · 31-35, F
@RoxClymer okay that's different you're being hounded and put down instead of someone being respectful and supportive.
