From what I learned from my life experience , don't be dependent on anyone fully that you feel your life or emotional state are dependent on them.

I am not sure I agree. When we are small we depend on mommy and daddy and later we should be able to depend on the person we marry

@ToriTalking yes but not "overly"- dependent that we feel like we can't live without them. Overly-independent is also bad... since it suggests that you don't trust anyone to rely on.
