How a bad relationship set us back
It’s amazing how one bad relationship can set us back years in our lives. I always wished I never got into that relationship as it changed me for a worse person.

I’ve been having similar feelings lately. Though, I don’t think we would be able to have more fulfilling relationships in the future without previously having the more difficult ones. I’m trying to see it as not years wasted, but more of a refining of myself, gaining self awareness and knowing what I will and will not tolerate.

I understand you @daddychill , I think in your case you are right by seeing it as years of learning. As for me , I sacrificed my career, friends and family to be with her so it really set me back many many years.
