Have you ever been in love with someone, but they've shown you multiple times they won't fight for you or be strong for you?

And it just makes the whole thing seem not worth it?

What do you mean fight or be strong for you? I’ve been in my relationship for 4 years and never had to do either. Maybe they don’t want a relationship that is emotionally draining like that.
@666Maggotz I'm referring to more serious things like cancer and childcare

@MarbleMarvel is it their child? Cancer I would stick by my s/o for because we were together so long. But if they got cancer like 2 months in, I probably wouldn’t have stayed.

Oh yeah. But it took me a long time to get away because their words were at odds to their actions..and I couldn’t understand it.
@EmoKing ugh yes they confuse the heck out of you until your sick

@MarbleMarvel you know a friend once said to me “if you can’t do it for you do it for your child” and that made it easier. Your child deserves the best version of you in an emotionally healthy place.
Yes, then i realized what they felt for me wasnt love. They loved trying to control me. Loved that i Loved them. But thats all
@Bexsy it's so hard to accept.
Yes ..just part of life and learning
You learn what you don't want

She could care less about me anymore
@chasingThursday she didn't care enough about you to begin with, then she doesn't deserve you

Yes. And I detest that and such cowardice.
@Intuitive I wonder how they expect to be valued but treat you like you aren't valuable? That isn't love.
Intuitive · F
@MarbleMarvel I agree with you on that completely.
