Never met them, in all our years together. He's 20 years older than me, so they're fairly old. I have, however, chatted on the phone to them many times.

@SarahTheHooker that's not far at all. I've travelled further than that for a meal. I live in Yorkshire but go down to Essex most weeks to see friends
