Yes, many years ago, from 21-23 yrs old. I was codependent and lonely - which made me vulnerable.
He was a fellow student on my scultpture course, the only child of dysfunctional parents, smoked an ounce of hash per week, and was paranoid jealous, would not allow me to have friends -- would fly into a jealous rage if I spoke to anyone. I became so isolated and lonely that I tried to kill myself -- ended up in Rachel (spychiatric) Ward of Whitechapel Hospital. That was the beginning of my journey into healing.
As part of the healing process, I got a job, left him and rented a room in a sharehouse - and, after a year, flew back to Australia.
Did not know it till a chat on Facebook a few years ago. He had ASD & dyslexia. His only-childness was the reason for his jealousy. His ASD explained his violent meltdowns, and many other weird behaviours.
