I like this post and have been there but now that the madness of parenthood has subsided we get time to do more together. The starting point for us was simply finding time to talk about things we could plan and do together whilst we can :-) It's good to have your own interests. You're so understanding, things do change and there is life beyond football.

My wife and I have some interests that overlap - similar interest in some tv dramas, books, music, theatre etc. But she's not interested in my sports etc. Just like I'm not interested in some of her soaps or dance shows etc.

So some we enjoy together some we encourage the other to enjoy when we're apart

@SW-User we had an awkward spot when the last kid moved out. We’d never lived alone because I already had Ali when we met, and I think we both were waiting for the other to say they wanted out now. Conscious decisions were made. 😂 I think we work better without the kids actually. 🤷‍♀
