Sometimes there is hope

I had a long painful discussion with my wife.
Unfortunately it involved a lot of crying.
We have to face serious problems in our circumstances soon.
This put even more tension on us.
Of course the discussion couldn't solve anything.
But couple of hours later (during we both were thinking) we agreed on several things.
We will work together on many things trying to find solutions. We might cut back on expenses, reorganising things in living conditions. Adjusting to reality and also work on our communication and our relationship.

For a long time I felt we are connected. The wife I loved still there. I feel I can love her again. I think she can come through her struggles while we work on real life problems and I hope she will have feelings for me again.

It's not all good at all. But I can see a bit of light coming through the clouds.

I take it as hope for now.

Certainly sounds like mature communication and a step in the right direction.

@OlderSometimesWiser Still long way to go. But much better when you feel hope.
