How did you know it was time for a divorce?

Years ago, a co-worker of mine came up to me and said,

"You know, my wife has a habit I really don't like."
"Yeah, Jim? What's that?"
"Her boyfriend."

Ouch. He wasn't exactly joking.

I'm sure everyone has their breaking point. What was yours? I've told my story many times on here. Here's the Cliff Notes version:

For me, the marriage end went something like this:

Wife: I want out.

Me: Noooo! We've been through so much together, been there for each other in good times and bad!

*a month later*
Wife: I want out.

Me: Please! You're my best friend. I want this to work. Let's go to therapy.

*a month later*
Wife: I want out.

Me: Don't give up now! We're making progress. Come with me on a great trip to Hollywood.

*a month later*
Wife: I want out.

Me: Here's a heartfelt poem that describes how I feel about you, how I'll never leave and never give up.

Wife: I want out.

Me: Okay! *serves papers*

That was 2003. I wouldn't change a thing. She's someone else's problem now.
