@Persephonee I can't remember to be honest. As soon as a guy enters the place he is getting courted- well, within a few meetings, the other women will call the right woman in.

I was seemingly getting set up with a Iranian girl (wasn't bad looking) at one point who kept showing up just to talk to me in a really flirty manner. Tempting, but they have this pioneer program where they systemmatically disperse their congregation across the globe. Plus they only allow in their congregation people in their municipality. It's dictated by how the local secular government decides where the boundry for the municipality is, and the smallest unit is ten people to form a baha'i group. That meant I could be sent anywhere (voluntarily of course, but best of luck arguing with the wife born into the religion on that) and as a philosopher used to debates probably would be elected to the lowest 10 person rung of leadership in whatever third world location they would send us, but it's also a anti-philosophical religion with specific verses encouraging people to disregard philosophers and think for themselves (fine by me), but that would mean a whole lot of shrugging from me saying don't listen to me your elected leader and think for yourselves. Plus I'm ex military so if they sent me someplace weird like Uganda (yes, they exist there) where active militias operate, they also have a love hate relationship with pacifism. They fought a civil war in Iran in the 1800s and yet advocate peace (mostly women), but also founded the concept of a New World Order. So I would of been a shoulder shrugging philosopher-not-philosopher being very ambigious in a third world country actively advocating peace, while sharpening spears and greasing guns and leading locals on nightly riads against some invading congo warlord strongholds.

So I was like.... other women are out there that won't land you someplace weird. But it's honestly nice to have a eager one practically issued to you that didn't look too bad. If any guys are ever desperate for a decent wife, go to a Baha'i service. Expect the Iranian military Quds to spy on you once in. They were always worried about Iranian government spies.
